YUNA HATTORI
A pioneer of eyelash extensions and body jewelry in Japan, Yuna Hattori has led the beauty industry for 30 years and currently manages five companies. She operates esthetic salons in Nagoya and Tokyo’s Azabu-Juban, centered around Hyper Energy Therapy®, a treatment technique protected by a global patent. She also developed the “bare-hand microcurrent conduction technique,” which has been introduced to over 200 beauty salons in Japan and abroad.
As a model and beauty expert, she has appeared in and been featured by approximately 200 media outlets. She also served as Chairperson of the Nagoya Supporters’ Association for Yokozuna Hakuho for seven years. With a broad network across politics, business, sports, and entertainment—including Governor Ohmura of Aichi Prefecture and Deputy Prime Minister Aso—she continues her more than 20 years of volunteer work under the initiative “Smile to the World.”
For about seven years, she has also been active as the designer of the kimono-dress brand “KANON.”
She is committed to supporting kimono-producing regions and traditional kimono artisans by creating and promoting kimono-inspired dresses. She believes that hosting “Kimono Dress Fashion Shows” across Japan and internationally will help communicate the beauty of traditional Japanese culture and open new markets for the revival of kimono.
With her exceptional versatility, professionalism, and specialized expertise, she is sought after by many industries for high-level projects and collaborations.
